I have e-mail under SMTP currently as I view it more as a notification type service, however there is a valid arguement that it also lives up in the presentation layer -- certainly IBM's strategy with Lotus Notes is clearly that the e-mail client is one possible centre to the tasks you want to do. The same probably applies for RSS readers (actually the more I think about this your probably right -- there is a notification service which is the RSS feed, SMTP e-mail etc. then there is how that is consumed...). Thanks for the feedback Charlie, I'll dwell on this and update it later.

What about moving email into the cloud as well? I much prefer web based email. And for that matter what about moving traditional enterprise tools like Word, excel and powerpoint into the cloud as well.
